ABOUT US

Dreaming of a different life - not necessarily better as things are pretty good right now. We have jobs for which we are exceedingly grateful. We have families who limit their drama. We have friends who tolerate our shortcomings enough to return our phone calls.  We have worked hard - in Customer Service, in Technical Support, in both the public and private sectors. We've created Powerpoints, crunched numbers in Excel, been baffled by pivot tables. We work on weekends, we try to workout at 4:00 a.m., we save for vacations. We have traveled half the world in opposite directions.  We've recognized ourselves in others and hoped they recognized themselves in us.

We don't like to take things too seriously but don't take serious stuff too lightly. We long for independence. We crave contribution. We love the Earth and recognize time stops for no one. 

We meet each other in unlikely circumstances....one likes to eat yummy stuff, the other likes to bake yummy stuff. One dreams of building a  community of likeminded, one dreams of selling yummy stuff to it.

We're going to start selling brownies at at the Del Ray Farmers Market in Alexandria, VA , launch this website and see where it takes us.  We have no clue what we're doing but decided to just do it anyway. 

We hope you don't take advantage of us but if you do we also believe in KARMA so aren't spending any time at all worrying about how little we know about what we're doing.  Well that and relying on the exceptional guidance of our Web Designer, Accountant, Lawyer, CEO, CFO, COO, CMO, Government Relations VP and personal private Administrative Associate.

We believe luck is the point at which opportunity and hard work meet.  We believe we are very lucky.
